Valentine's Day

yes, 5 days later! but anyways!..

...you either love it, or you hate it!

Me, well I've always loved it, date or no date! Every where you turn there's chocolate, & heart shaped cherry lolipops & heart candies with cheesy sayings on them!.. What's not to love!

Needless to say, I had a date this year!(:
But, my day was not as fun and romantic as y'all may be thinking.. well fun, that it was...!

I woke up super early Thursday morning like @ 6am (I don't ever have to get up that early anymore!) and set out a bunch of chocolate&candy for my mom and sis

they loved it! My sis actually gave me a hug and a kiss! if you know Amanda you'd know that's not a normal thing for her to do!

 

OH! and I had flowers sent to my mom's work!(:

 

So I'm taking the dog out, open the front door, and well...

my boyfriend is the sweetest. I'm so lucky<3

and whoever got stuck taking him to my house @ 3am.. thankyou! LOL

 

Then, I headed out to work! but not PLT or TKS, no, but at Gigi's Cupcakes!

It's not a daily job, I just got asked to work on V-Day because the manager was prepared to be super busy! It was a great experience! I got to help sprinkle cupcakes, & box orders, ect..

 

Fast foward to about 2:15, I get to karate to a boyfriend with lots of gifts! :] haha

I got flowers...

a giant teddy bear, we named Mr. Valentino...

a ring for my thumb!...

and lots of oversized goodies!...

oh! and the Luke Bryan tix!

 

he also took me to see 'Safe Haven'!

It was also pretty great having all the after schoolers come in to TKS and give me a bunch of candy!

So all in all, it was the best Valentine's day ever for me!

Before I start, I'm not complaining about anything, just wanna throw that out there!

I love to stay busy and help others and be around people that make me smile!.. but most importantly I love what I do, I love both my jobs!

I love getting to dress up all cute and go into work and meet new people, and help them choose cute outfits! Especially when they come in saying they have a wedding to go to and need to make their ex jealous! LOL

I love being an influence on kids' lives! It's so great to go into work everyday and be one of the 1st people they see and have them come tell me how their day was, how they made their 1st 100 on a math test(!) or how they got sent to the principle's office and they're afraid to get in trouble at home! It's wonderful knowing that I'm changing a kid's life, and it's super cool when they say I'm like a sister to them! Love it!

So!...

Thursday:
Worked at karate... then babysat a girl from karate.. she is so sweet and well mannered, and so fun! Nails&Hair, ya know!(:

Friday:
I worked at the boutique in the a.m. (11-2)... from there went to work at TKS (2-5:30)... then, raced down to Kingwood for a church event (6-8)... and lastly, went back to karate for the sleepover! (8pm-9am)!

Saturday:

Didn't leave TKS sleepover til 10, rushed home to shower, got ready, headed to work at the boutique (12:30-6)... from there, I went to babysit some other kids from karate (6:45-11)!

 

 

Sunday:

My mom let me sleep in this morning til about 10! it was so great!... then church! (1-2:45)... then work (3-6).. which concludes my long weekend! ah!

 

I had 3 days of working PLT, which means 3 days of cute outfits!(:

 

 It's been a really fun weekend!

 

 So now.. why the ugly hand and the piggy bank in the background? Because, that's what I did all weekend! Cash money!! LOL

 



 

Enjoy the Little Things

Well hello friends!

As I do every other Sunday, I'm working at 'Pretty Little Things Boutique' today! I'm sure most of you are getting ready for the Super Bowl! I'm not a big football fan so, while y'all are eating pizza and drinking beer, I will be watching 'E! News' and catching up on my Kardashians! LOL

Sometimes we don't realize how big the little things in life really are. Many of us remember the small memories from when we were young like going to get ice cream on a hot summer day with our mother or father, or some other kind of memory that brought us joy that is small, but has had a greater effect on our lives than we really know. Sometimes we just have to take time out to enjoy the small things in life like the smell of fresh coffee in the morning.

The little things in life are what connect us to the bigger things in life. A simple daily hug to a lover or a family member may not seem that huge everyday, but when they are gone just the memory of this embrace can be a fulfilling memory that will make you smile. Never underestimate doing the little things, and make sure that you go out of your way to do them because you will reap the rewards for doing so for the rest of your life.

this is a little bit of a random post, but...

I bet y'all are all thinking "who the heck is that!"... UNLESS, you've watched 'Pitch Perfect' as many times as I have! :]

I'm also sure all of you saw all my posts about this movie and the 7 times that I watched it this past week..but it's just that good!

Anyways!.. there's this girl.. Her name is Lilly Onakuramara...

 and through out the entire movie you can't hear a word she is saying! So the 6th time, I decided to watch the whole movie with the subtitles on, and here's what she has to say!...
