Summa Time!

Gosh I'm so ready for it!

I can't stand the heat!

and I can't stand not being able to spend all day with my hair down because it'll just frizz!

and I can't stand having the sweat just drip off my face!

BUT!...

 I love to lay out on the sand or out by the pool and tan!

and I love all the colors on summer time clothes(:

I love being able to buy snowcones!

and I love all the "summer time" music!

or Kokomo by the Beach Boys!
I understand these are oldies for sure, but they're just my favs! :]

I also love that my birthday falls in summer so I get to have pool parties!

and of course the gifts that come with it! LOL

Last year my mom, sister, and I started like a little summer tradition
where we go to the beach every other Sunday
so I'm definitely excited for that!

Weekend Shenanigans

Pleasure Pier. Rodeo Houston. Pretty Little Things

This weekend was definitely one of the best in a long time!

I was hardly home and spent every day with a friend!

Friday:

Well first off, I want the world to know that I am obsessed with Disney! My sis went to Disney World for spring break and brought me back some sparkly Minnie ears, which I wore to work all day!

So Lauren&I both got off early and did NOT want to sit at home all day doing nothing! We sat around for 2hrs deciding what to do, and finally, decided to go to Pleasure Pier!

Traffic was absolutely horrific! It took over an hour & a half to get there -_- .. I had to parallel park, that took forever too!

We saw some old friends!

and the ferris wheel being the scariest for me!

Saturday:

I had to wake up at 4:15am to pick up my uncle from the airport. We decided to be somewhat official and make a sign with his last name and stand with all the other drivers picking people up! LOL

THEN, it was rodeo time! XD
Isaac bought me tickets to see Luke Bryan for Christmas and I had been waiting for this day ever since! I was stoked to see him again!
We didn't do any of the carnival stuff, but we walked around and looked at all the livestock stuff and the little shops that are inside!

We saw some of the cutest kids!

Sunday:

I got to sleep in! I woke up around 10 and got ready for work! I was extra excited to work today because I was getting to train one of my good friends, Katie, to work at the Boutique! So all y'all can come visit her at Pretty Little Things now too!

I would like to think that I deserve a prize for putting on a smile and keeping my mouth shut to some of the mean customers that come in! LOL

I just want to go swimming now and lay out by the pool and tan!

Party of the Year

there's this girl at work and she's got to be the most free spirted, flamboyant, outgoing, thoughtful, most mature 9 year old I know!

Well anyways, she turned 9 this past Saturday and she told her mom she wanted a "Spa" birthday and wanted for me and 3 other co-workers from TKS to help out with her party! I'm sure I can speak for all of us when I say, I didn't even have to think twice, of course I would take part in her special day!

 

Here was the plan:

-Facials

-Nails

-Make Up

-Hair

-Then, everyone puts on the "prettiest dress and heels" and they have a photo shoot!

I thought it was such a cute and fun idea. All the girls had a blast, and I had fun helping!

At one point, her dad said "She had a 16yr old birthday party!"

because that's the time period in which this all happened!

It was a cold Friday night, I had just got home from work and black belt club (knife defense with markers.. my fav!)

I was scrolling through Instagram and noticed 2 of my friends were at Cold Stone.. funny because as I was doing that one of them called me.. "come meet us!".. yes, Cold Stone on a COLD Friday night!

I go to meet Ashley & Katie

and I ended up seeing Taylor & Olivia too!

then, we had a little party in the parking lot

(listening to Spice Girls! lol)

 

I haven't been with all them at once since August

my first time

WAIT keep reading! lol calm down people.. my first time going to a CONCERT!! :]

this post is late but I still want to let you all know how it went!

I should probably start by saying who I went to see... P!NK!

I was afraid I wasn't gonna know any of her new songs, so I downloaded her latest album and learned them all in 5 days.. because I didn't know I was going to see her til 5 days before hand!

I had never gone to a concert before and had no idea how I was supposed to dress for this! So, I hit up Pinterest and got some ideas!

Went to Forever 21 and got that studded vest from my last blog and went to Target and got those awesome studded boots! XD

I was still a little concerned that I was gonna look totally stupid

We went to dinner at Guadalajara and as soon as I walked in, some random lady complemented my boots!

Oh yeah, we got hoop nose rings for the night(:

I'm pretty sure she spent three - forths of the time in air

 

I've always like P!nk but I have such a higher level of respect for her now!

She's a great singer but an even better performer

It was so amazing!
