The Last of It

My band events have nearly come to an end, all I have left is State Solo&Ensemble on the 28th...

Friday I had my last HS band concert    

Mine&Madi's last hs concert

I didn't get any scholarships but I'm totally ok with that

because I got the John Philip Sousa award!

the award honors the top student in a high-school band and recognizes superior musicianship and outstanding dedication

It's the highest award a hs band student can receive!

Definitely was not expecting it

Saturday was our Band Banquet!

I got 2 awards that night too

This past wkend was really the greatest

spent it with my closest friends

enjoying the last of my 

'Pride of the Eagles Military Marching Band' events!

Thank y'all for making my 4 yrs in band the greatest experience
I have made lots of friendships and of course some enemies lol(;
Practices may have been tedious but all worth while
Beat Kingwood every yr at NAMMB
Made Sweepstakes in Wind Ensemble all 4yrs
Never got to experience a failure!

 Super lucky I got to be in Wind Ensemble all 4yrs
along side Madi&Taylor!

 You guys keep up the good work next yr!
Never give up, stay strong, hang in there!
Don't let anyone keep y'all from being the best you can be!

A few things to remember:
1)Stay loyal. If you don't wanna be there, get out, don't waste anyone's time.
2)Don't take anything personally!
3)Have fun, make friends and make enemies(:
(*you know, bc ur so good at ur instrument u make ppl jealous!*)
4)Don't take all those trophies for granted, you gotta work for them.

Well, it's been great!
And after many tears I've accepted
that my high school band career is over!

GRADUATION SATURDAY!!

PROM 2012!!

Now that I've actually gotten around to having time to do this...

So my prom was this past wkend as I'm sure all of you already know.

I had the best time, even without a date!...

Except for when they slow danced! lol

So Saturday morning Madi&Ashley came over super early to get ready

We then went to Kingwood to take pics... sneak peak(:

We ate dinner at The Grove

Took some more pics in Discovery Green

Then off to prom we go!

Sunday morning we headed to Galveston 

I had THE best time this wkend!

Sunday night we ate at Rainforest Cafe!

Madi got an Ariel balloon!

Even with a small group I had loads of fun!

Just me and the greatest 2 friends in the world!

We stayed at a super fancy hotel

with an ocean view and walking distance to the beach!

Some of my friends spent 600$ total!

Me, I spent about $200!

You just gotta know how to do it!

Yepp! Cheap prom! 

So thankful for that! 

Once again, I had a BLAST!

Next event is band concert and banquet!

May 6th: Olivia's grad party

May 19th: Band Banquet

May 26th: GRADUATION!!

May 28th: State Solo&Ensemble

Took my 1st AP test of the yr on Thursday, 1 more & I'm done!

Turned in my pics for the band banquet! XD

Went with Lauren & Mia to get our nails done today!
1st time Mia ever got acrylic nails.. she was excited!

I'm packed for Galveston!
Swimsuit.. CHECK!
Glasses... CHECK!
Suntan lotion... CHECK!

PROM is tmrw!
Going alone but don't care!
Simply means more people I get to dance with!(; hahaha!
So ready to partyy!.. Too bad I signed the "Contract for Life"

Summer Time

I've been gone for a while, but I'm back!.. with a full calender for May, Honors Band, AP test coming up and trying to pass economics, it's kinda hard to keep up with this.. but I'm almost done!!(:

My summer has already started and I am just sooo excited for the rest of it! 

I have so many things I want to do, but of course,
 I don't grow money in my backyard "/

Can't wait to go back to work! The pool! The beach!

1st summer as an "adult"! Maybe I'll be allowed on some road trips alone with friends!.. Mommy?!(;

So here's what's been going on:

-Sent out most of my grad invites! I've got people coming to see me from Hawaii -to Louisiana -to Venezuela.. yeah I feel loved! lol
-My mom, sister and I have a new thing where we go to the beach every Sunday, it's kinda relaxing! Of course since I haven't been out in the sun hardly, I got tomato red, smh, lol
-Senior Picnic was this past Monday to start off my last month as a senior! Lots of people I'm gonna miss next year "/
-Existentialist lecture on Wednesday.. I really enjoy learning about this!

I spent the wkend with my aunt and uncle!
-Surprised Mia and took her Showtime! Friday night, my friends did amazing, the choir never fails to amaze me! Congrats y'all<3
-Had a concert again so Mia tagged along and hung out with me and my friends all day! She laughs with/at them so much and they love her(:
-My mom came home Sunday from here retreat.. I missed her so much!
-Went to Olivia's grad party! The water slide was crazyy(: Ate a piece of her body!(; (cake lol) and took one of each of her senior pics to add to my senior scrapbook I'm starting!
